Venue
Aachen is the westernmost city in Germany and lies directly on the border with the Netherlands and Belgium. The city, first mentioned in the 8th century, has a wonderful, traffic-calmed old town with many historic buildings. For centuries, Aachen Cathedral was the coronation site of German kings and emperors - today it is considered the city's landmark and its cathedral treasury houses one of the most important ecclesiastical treasuries north of the Alps. Aachen Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the historic town hall and the neo-classical Elisenbrunnen fountain are just three of Aachen's most famous sights! With the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule (RWTH), Aachen has one of the largest and most traditional technical universities in Europe.

The International Conference on Sintering will take place at the Congress Center Eurogress Aachen, which is placed in the green oasis of the Aachen city park, surrounded by fountains and old trees. During the conference, four lecture halls, a foyer for the sponsors area and poster session will be used.

Sustainability at the Eurogress Aachen
Sustainability has been a high priority in the corporate strategy of Eurogress Aachen for many years, and its various ecological, economic and social dimensions are taken into account.
Eurogress as a venue was one of the first event locations in Germany that implemented the newly developed code into its corporate strategy.
The Sustainability Code, initiated by the associations EVVC (European Association of Event Centers e.V.) and GCB (German Convention Bureau e.V.), is a voluntary commitment to corporate responsibility for sustainability in the organization and execution of events.
